Alain Laurens founded La Cabane Perchee in 2000, with watercolour artist, Daniel Dufour, who imagines and designs the tree houses, and journeyman carpenter, Ghislain Andre, who builds them with a team of carpenters and woodworkers. To date, La Cabane Perchee has constructed nearly 350 tree houses around the world, many of which are showcased in Exceptional Treehouses and Treehouse Living. Jacques Delacroix is an architecture, design, and fashion photographer whose work is featured in Exceptional Treehouses.
